Our Minister, Rev. Ann Schranz

Rev. Schranz is a graduate of Starr King School for the Ministry, holding
a Master of Divinity from that prestigious UU institution. Originally from
Wisconsin, she has a degree in journalism from the University of Wisconsin,
a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University,
and a background in environmental work, specifically with toxic and hazardous
waste management.
Special interests include bird watching, photography, travel, and good
conversation. Having spent several months in Nicaragua as part of her journalism
training, she has some working knowledge of Spanish, and also studied Welsh
while in Berkeley attending seminary.
Rev. Schranz was ordained in 2005 at the nearby Orange Coast UU Church, following her student internship there. Prior to joining MVUUC she was the interim minister at the UU Fellowship of Santa Cruz County.
